Raina Dai, who found inspirations outside of Goldman and transformed into an excellent realist painter. She is a rare realistic artist who seeks the genuine reflection of the world’s eternal beauty. As Jacob Collins’ top student, she is inspired by old masters back in Renaissance period. She seeks to create paintings that depicts the real, looks elegant and creates feeling of purer and better time and space. Though following the traditional practice, her art often has a modern feeling that differentiates her style from the others. She likes to use objects from her daily life in her composition, while telling stories by using symbolism. It brings the viewers beyond the beautiful surface, into a spiritual world where she shares her own view of the life and deeper reflection underneath the surface. Her figure and portrait painting, on the other hand, seeks the perfect balance between emphasizing the natural beauty of the human body, and depicting the real accurately.
